CHARLOTTE — A 45-year-old man was arrested for his second DUI following an incident in Charlotte early Saturday morning.
Police say they initiated a traffic stop after observing a motor vehicle violation on Spear Street, near the intersection with Guinea Road, at around 12:15 a.m.
The driver was identified as Christopher Coleman, of Charlotte.
While speaking with Coleman, police say they detected indicators of impairment.
Coleman was screened, placed under arrest, and transported to the New Haven barracks for processing.
At the conclusion of processing, Coleman was released to a sober party with a citation to appear in court at a later date.
