WEST BURKE — A 23-year-old man from Barton was arrested on multiple charges following an incident in West Burke earlier this month.
On August 10, authorities say they were notified of a domestic disturbance at around 11:35 p.m.
Police allege that Andrew Baird assaulted an individual at the home, stole money from them, drove with a criminally suspended driver’s license, and damaged a vehicle at the home.
Following an investigation, police say that Baird also violated 2 sets of active conditions of release, and a final abuse prevention order.
Police say they were unable to locate Baird the night of the incident.
Yesterday, Baird was taken into custody by Lyndonville Police Officers for a separate incident.
He was transported to the St Johnsbury barracks for processing.
He was transported to Northeast Correctional Complex in St Johnsbury where he will be held until his arraignment tomorrow.
