HIGHGATE — A 32-year-old man was arrested following an incident in Highgate on August 14.
Authorities say they were notified of an ongoing domestic assault situation at around 7:30 a.m.
Police allege that Christopher Gagne, of Highgate, had committed the offense of 2nd degree aggravated domestic assault in doing so.
Gagne allegedly unlawfully restrained the victim, interfered with their access to emergency services, and violated existing conditions of release.
Gagne was arrested and ordered held without bail at Northwest State Correctional.
He is scheduled to be arraigned in court today.
