FAIR HAVEN — A 52-year-old man was arrested following an incident in Fair Haven yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of a relief from abuse order to serve upon John M. Partch, of Fair Haven, on Washington Street, at around 8:50 p.m.
Prior to arrival, police say they found that Partch had caused pain to a household member and had a previous conviction of domestic assault.
Police say they also found that Partch was in violation of multiple conditions of release.
Partch was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Rutland barracks for processing.
He was lodged at the Marble Valley Regional Correctional Facility and cited to appear in court to answer for the charges of 2nd-degree aggravated domestic assault and violation of conditions of release X8.
