MOULTONBOROUGH –– A youth was injured in a dirt bike crash Tuesday, after colliding with a tree along Governor Wentworth Highway.
Moultonborough Police, Fire-Rescue, Stewart’s Ambulance and New Hampshire Fish and Game Department responded to the incident, which occurred in a field.
On arrival, responders found the youth operator who had crashed a youth model dirt bike into a tree at the edge of the field, suffering a head injury.
The youth, who was wearing appropriate safety gear including a helmet, was treated for his injuries at the scene and transported to Concord Hospital-Laconia via Stewart’s Ambulance.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
