FAIR HAVEN –– A 22-year-old woman was arrested following an investigation into a reported assault, according to the Fair Haven Police Department.
Kailee S. Hewitt, of Fair Haven, was arrested after police were called to Dutton Avenue for a reported assault.
Through their investigation, police learned that Hewitt and another individual got into a dispute, during which Hewitt allegedly struck the other person, causing injury.
Hewitt has been charged with simple assault and was issued a citation to appear in Rutland District Court to answer to the charge.
The arrest was made by Sgt. Dale Kerber.
