TROY –– A single vehicle crash at Troy Country Store led to the arrest of North Troy resident, Lars McManus, 52, on suspicion of his third DUI yesterday.
At about 3:26 p.m., the Vermont State Police and Newport EMS were dispatched to VT Route 100 after a vehicle collided with a metal post in front of the store.
The investigation revealed McManus was attempting to park when the incident occurred.
Troopers on the scene identified several indicators of impairment in McManus’s behavior.
He was arrested and taken to the Derby Barracks for further processing.
