LYNDON — A 49-year-old man was charged with negligent operation following an incident in Lyndon on Friday.
Authorities say they were notified of a vehicle off the road on Mohawk Drive at around 10:10 p.m.
Upon arrival, police say the driver, identified as Matthew Reen, of Lyndon, had already left the scene.
Police located Reen a short time later.
Following an investigation, police allege that Reen had operated his vehicle in a negligent manner resulting in his vehicle leaving the road.
He was then cited to appear in court to answer for the charge.
