LINCOLN –– A single-car rollover crash on Interstate 93 North in Lincoln this morning at approximately 6:39 a.m. resulted in the death of a Tamworth woman.
Janet E. Carroll, 74, was operating a 2011 Nissan Rogue northbound when the vehicle drifted off the east side of I-93.
Carroll’s car continued on the soft shoulder until it struck a ditch, causing it to flip onto its roof.
First responders found the vehicle on its roof in a ditch at mile marker 107.4.
Despite receiving medical attention at the scene, Carroll was pronounced dead.
The New Hampshire State Police Troop F, who received the initial report of the crash, is conducting an ongoing investigation into the incident.
The Troop F Barracks was assisted at the scene by members of the Lincoln Fire Rescue and the Lincoln Police Department.
