RUTLAND — A 50-year-old woman was arrested for simple assault in Rutland today.
Authorities say they were notified of a citizen dispute at the Cortina Inn at around 5:20 a.m.
Police allege that Laurieann Webster, of Rutland, engaged in an argument with other persons staying at the Cortina Inn.
Webster allegedly assaulted Haley Palin, 24, of Rutland, and Tonyia Corners, 53, of Rutland.
Webster was taken into custody and released on a citation to appear in court.
