VERNON –– A family dispute led to the arrest of a Vernon woman on charges of domestic assault, Vermont State Police said.
Authorities responded to a call about a family fight at a residence on Vernon Estates Road in Windham County, Vermont, on August 5 at around 10:03 p.m.
Following an investigation, police arrested 35-year-old Jessica Baldwin, who allegedly physically assaulted a family member. She was transported to the Westminster State Police Barracks for processing.
Baldwin was later released with a criminal citation. She is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division, on August 7 at 12:30 p.m. to respond to the charge.
In accordance with policy, the Vermont State Police did not release the name of the victim.
