SALISBURY –– A 54-year-old Salisbury man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after a car crash late Saturday evening.
Vermont State Police responded to reports of a crash at approximately 9:52 p.m. on Middle Road, near the intersection of Pidgeon Road E in Salisbury.
The driver was identified as Joseph Conant.
Upon interacting with Conant, officers observed signs of impairment.
Conant was subsequently screened for DUI and placed under arrest.
Conant was transported to the New Haven State Police Barracks for processing.
He was later released with a citation to appear in Addison County Superior Court, Criminal Division, at a future date.
