BETHEL — A 40-year-old woman was arrested for domestic assault following an incident in Bethel today.
Authorities say they were notified of an assault that occurred at a home on East Street at around 8:15 a.m.
Following an investigation, police allege that Michelle Burbano, of Bethel, had assaulted and caused bodily injury to another member of the household.
Burbano was taken into custody and transported to the Royalton barracks for processing.
She was later transported to the Windsor County Superior Court to be arraigned on the charge of domestic assault.
