DERBY — Vermont State Police are searching for a 14-year-old boy who was reported missing from his home in Derby late on Monday evening.
Jayden Medina was last seen at about 9:30 p.m. outside a Walmart in Derby, according to a news release issued by state police. He is believed to have run away from home.
Medina was reported to be wearing blue jeans, a red and white tee shirt, new white sneakers, a durag and a black hat when he was last seen. He is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing about 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about Medina’s whereabouts to contact the Vermont State Police. A photograph of Medina has been released to assist in the search.
The case is currently being treated as a runaway juvenile incident. Further updates will be provided as the investigation continues.
