MAIDSTONE — A 24-year-old man from New Hampshire was involved in a single-vehicle crash in Maidstone today.
The crash took place on Maidstone Lake Road at around 4:40 p.m.
According to the report, the driver was traveling easterly when, distracted by his handheld mobile device, he left the road and hit an ornamental stone wall.
The driver was transported to Weeks Memorial Hospital as a precaution.
The road was reduced to one lane of width for around one hour.
Police say slick roads and speeds were unreasonable for the conditions.
