HIGHGATE — A 35-year-old man from Utah was arrested in Highgate early this morning.
Authorities say they were contacted by U.S. Customs and Border Protection regarding Aime Byuma, of West Valley, UT, attempting to enter back into the U.S. with an active arrest warrant.
The warrant was issued for aggravated kidnapping, aggravated sexual assault, forceable sexual abuse, and false personal information to a peace officer.
Byuma was arrested without incident and lodged without bail pending a court hearing.
