ST. JOHNSBURY — Vermont State Police arrested two men today in connection with a shooting investigation that occurred Tuesday evening in Concord.
The Tuesday night shooting happened on Shadow Lake Road and was reportedly related to a domestic dispute among individuals who knew each other. However, no one was injured in the incident.
In a follow-up operation in St. Johnsbury on Wednesday, police executed court-ordered search warrants at a residence on Elm Street.
The two suspects, aged 21 and 25, were taken into custody without incident during the operation.
The police operation involved members of the Tactical Services Unit and the Crisis Negotiation Unit. According to the Vermont State Police, there was no danger to the community at any point during the investigation or the operation in St. Johnsbury.
No charges have been filed as of yet, as the investigation is still ongoing.
The Vermont State Police are continuing their search efforts in St. Johnsbury on Wednesday afternoon.
