BARRE — A 45-year-old man from Barre was cited for home improvement fraud yesterday.
Authorities say they were alerted to a home improvement fraud incident involving Northern Build Pros Inc.
Following an investigation, police allege that James A. Martin signed multiple contracts with the complainant, collected the deposits, but never completed the work.
Yesterday, Martin was located by Barre City Police Department and issued with a citation to appear in court on August 28 to answer the charge.
