GLASTENBURY — A 71-year-old woman from Bennington was killed during a crash in Glastenbury yesterday.
The incident took place on US Route 7 at around 7:30 a.m.
According to the report, Bradley Hilchey, 22, of Bennington, was traveling north when he left the northbound lane striking the guardrails.
The rear passenger, Dorothy Oshea, was ejected from the vehicle.
Oshea was transported to Albany Medical Center and later pronounced dead.
Hilchey and a third passenger were uninjured.
Members from the Shaftsbury Fire Department and Arlington Ambulance Squad assisted at the scene.
Police are still investigating the crash.
