SHAFTSBURY — Police are seeking the public’s help in locating two individuals who were involved in a crash in Shaftsbury on Friday.
The single-vehicle crash took place on West Mountain Road at around 12:30 a.m.
According to a report by a witness, a truck lost control and collided into a tree.
Police say two individuals fled the scene of the crash and were not located.
Following an investigation, it was found that the vehicle was traveling too fast for road conditions at the time, causing the vehicle to fishtail, and collide into a tree.
The Chevrolet Silverado involved in the crash sustained heavy front-end damage and was totaled from the collision.
