Guns, bike stolen at Coventry storage facility

COVENTRY –– Vermont State Police are investigating a theft that occurred at a local self-storage facility.

The incident was reported yesterday at Affordable Self Storage located on Vermont Route 105.

The complainant, 40-year-old Joseph Lafleur, of Burlington, informed authorities that his storage unit had been broken into within the last three to four weeks.

Stolen items included two rifles, various fishing and camping gear, a specialized road bike and a Transition Sentinel mountain bike.

Sgt. Joshua Mikkola is leading the investigation and urges anyone with information about the theft to contact him directly at 802-334-8881.
