HIGHGATE — A 38-year-old man was cited following an incident in Highgate yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of a potential assault that was occurring at a home on Vermont Route 78 at around 5:05 p.m.
Police allege that Allan Reynolds, of Highgate, had physically assaulted a household member.
The victim was choked during the assault, police say.
Reynolds was issued a flash citation to appear in court for the charges of first-degree aggravated domestic assault, and offense committed in the presence of a child.
