CRAFTSBURY — The Craftsbury Community Care Center is hosting its popular annual raffle, offering a handcrafted canoe by renowned Greensboro artisan Phil Pike.
This marks the third year of Pike’s contributions, helping to boost the Care Center’s fundraising efforts aimed at assisting local elders of various economic backgrounds.
This year, the raffle prize is a stunning two-seater, 15-foot Ranger canoe complete with a carry yoke.
Tickets are priced at $50 each, with the lucky winner being announced at Craftsbury’s Old Home Day on August 12. The raffled canoe will be showcased at Craftsbury’s Antiques & Uniques festival on July 8 and various local events throughout July.
Those interested in participating can purchase tickets on the Craftsbury Community Care Center’s website, craftsburycommunitycarecenter.org, at The Miller’s Thumb gallery in Greensboro, or by emailing [email protected]. Tickets are also available from any Care Center board member.
The Craftsbury Community Care Center is a non-profit residential care home that plays a pivotal role in the Meals on Wheels program.
