POWNAL — A 48-year-old man was involved in a single-vehicle crash in Pownal early this morning.
The crash took place on US Route 7, near Burrington Road, at around 5:25 a.m.
According to the report, Daniel J. Schulman, of Pownal, was traveling north at 60-65 miles-per-hour when he veered off the shoulder of the road.
The vehicle rolled onto its roof.
Schulman sustained injuries from the collision and was transported to Southwestern Medical Center for further medical evaluation.
State Police were assisted on the scene by Pownal Fire Department, Pownal Rescue Squad, and All Service Citgo of Bennington.
