CHARLOTTE — A 28-year-old man from Hinesburg was arrested for DUI following a crash in Charlotte on Monday.
Authorities say they were notified of a single-vehicle crash on Dorset Street at around 12:40 p.m.
While traveling to the area, police say the vehicle was fully engulfed in flames when they arrived.
The driver was identified as Dustin Benoit.
Police say that Benoit was under the influence of intoxicants.
He was arrested and transported to the Williston barracks for processing.
He was cited and released to appear in court on August 22 to answer for the charge.
