STARKSBORO — A 23-year-old man was arrested following an incident in Starksboro yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of a domestic disturbance at a home on States Prison Hollow Road at around 10:15 p.m.
Following an investigation, police allege that Chase Gibbs-Emilo, of Starksboro, caused bodily injury to a domestic partner and attempted to prevent that member from contacting emergency services.
Police also say the incident had occurred in the presence of a child.
Gibbs-Emilo was transported to the New Haven barracks for processing and released on court-ordered conditions with a citation to appear in court at a later date.
Troopers were assisted on the scene by members of the Bristol Police Department.
