DERBY — A 58-year-old man was arrested for his second DUI following an incident in Derby early this morning.
Authorities say they were notified of a man who was intoxicated and tearing up their driveway on Terrace Drive at around 12:25 a.m.
Police allege that Steven Lontine, of Derby, was operating a John Deere tractor when he dug up a driveway to place a plastic pipe on top of a culvert, causing property damage.
Lontine showed several signs of impairment and was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Derby barracks for processing.
He is charged with DUI #2, unlawful mischief, and driving with a criminally suspended license.
