PAWLET — A 33-year-old woman was arrested following an incident in Pawlet on Friday.
Authorities say they were notified of a trespassing complaint at The Barn Restaurant & Tavern on School Street at around 8:50 p.m.
Following an investigation, police allege that Ruth Byrne, of Pawlet, had entered or remained on land where notice against trespass had been given.
While troopers attempted to speak with Byrne at her home, she smashed a window resulting in state police and a crisis specialist being struck by broken glass.
She was later taken into custody and issued a citation to appear in court at a later date and time.
