WILLISTON — An 18-year-old from South Burlington was arrested for his first DUI following an incident in Williston yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of a vehicle traveling on I-89 north failing to maintain its lane at around 10:40 p.m.
Police say they located and stopped the vehicle at mile marker 85.
The driver was identified as a juvenile.
While speaking with the juvenile, police say they detected indicators of impairment.
The juvenile was arrested for the suspicion of DUI and transported to the Williston barracks for processing.
At the conclusion of processing, the juvenile was released with a citation to appear in court on July 13.
