ADDISON — A 16-year-old from Vergennes was involved in a single-vehicle crash in Addison on Saturday.
The crash took place on Vermont Route 17E, near the intersection with Vermont Route 23, at around 6:10 p.m.
According to the report, Autumn Thayer was traveling west at a speed which was too fast for the rainy weather and wet road conditions.
As a result, Thayer lost control of the vehicle, crossed the centerline, and hit a guardrail off the eastbound lane.
Police say Thayer then came to a position of uncontrolled rest in the center of the road.
Nobody were injured during the crash.
Troopers were assisted on the scene by members of the Addison Fire Department and Vergennes Area Rescue Squad.
