North Troy resident accused of violating court-ordered conditions

NORTH TROY — A North Troy resident is facing charges for allegedly violating his court-ordered conditions of release, according to a report from the Vermont State Police.

At around 1:20 p.m. on June 19, police received a report that Timothy Phillips, 54, was breaching his conditions of release.

A trooper was dispatched to Phillips’ residence in North Troy to investigate the allegations.

Following the investigation, it was determined that Phillips was in violation of his court-ordered conditions.

He was taken into custody and transported to the Derby Barracks for processing.

After processing, Phillips was released with a citation.

The details regarding the conditions of his release and the nature of the alleged violation were not disclosed in the report.
