BRISTOL — A 30-year-old man from Essex was arrested for DUI drugs following an incident in Bristol yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of a vehicle off the road near Raven Cliff Road at around 8:00 p.m.
The driver was identified as Justin Provencher.
While speaking with Provencher, police say they detected indicators of drug impairment.
He was screened, placed under arrest, and transported to the Middlebury Police Department to undergo a drug influence evaluation.
He was then transported to Porter Medical Center to obtain an evidentiary blood sample.
At the conclusion of processing, Provencher was released with a citation to appear in court at a later date.
