POWNAL — A 37-year-old woman was arrested following an incident in Pownal this morning.
Authorities say they were notified of a family fight that occurred on Cardinal Boulevard at around 6:20 a.m.
Police allege that Wynetta L. Burdick, of Pownal, caused bodily injury to a household or family member.
Troopers arrested Burdick for the offense of 2nd-degree aggravated domestic assault.
She was taken into custody and transported to the Vermont State Police Shaftsbury barracks for processing.
At the conclusion of processing, Burdick was released on conditions for the charge and was transported to Chittenden Regional Correctional Facility by Bennington County Probation & Parole.
