LYNDON — A 20-year-old man from Burke was cited for negligent operation following an incident in Lyndon on Friday.
Police say they observed a vehicle traveling 68 miles-per-hour in a 35 miles-per-hour zone on Red Village Road at around 5:25 p.m.
In the course of conducting a motor vehicle stop, the vehicle was observed turning onto New Boston Road, where it was located in a driveway not connected to the driver.
The driver, identified as Jay Bailey, was issued a citation to appear in court for the crime of negligent operation.
