LEICESTER — A 74-year-old woman was found dead in Leicester yesterday.
Authorities were notified of a death that occurred on Delorm Road at around 7:15 p.m.
Police identified the woman as a 74-year-old decedent in the area of the entrance to a sand quarry on Delorm Road.
The body was sent for autopsy at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Burlington.
Police say the death is not considered suspicious and there is no cause for public concern.
The investigation is ongoing and no further information is available at this time.
