NEWPORT CENTER — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash in Newport Center yesterday.
The crash took place at the intersection of Vermont Route 105 and Buzzell Road at around 4:30 p.m.
Police identified the drivers as Nicole Columbia, 36, of Orleans, and Kailyn McGregor, 27, of Georgia.
According to the report, Columbia was intending to turn left onto Vermont Route 105 off Buzzell Road prior to the crash.
As she entered the intersection, her vehicle was struck by McGregor’s vehicle which was traveling west on Vermont Route 105.
Police say nobody was injured as a result of the crash.
Both vehicles sustained relatively minor damage and were both able to be driven away from the scene.
