ORLEANS — A West Burke man was arrested for excessive speed and negligent operation on Interstate 91 yesterday.
At approximately 6:50 p.m., troopers on patrol observed a vehicle traveling at 119 mph in a posted 65 mph zone.
Upon stopping the vehicle, the operator was identified as Frank Heizler, 30, of West Burke.
Heizler was taken into custody without incident and transported back to the Derby Barracks for processing.
Heizler was issued a citation to appear in the Orleans Superior Court to answer to the charges.
Rays Auto was dispatched to tow Heizler’s vehicle.
