BOLTON — A 22-year-old man from East Montpelier was arrested for DUI following a crash in Bolton yesterday.
The single-vehicle crash took place on I-89 south at around 11:35 p.m.
The vehicle was seen at a position of uncontrolled rest on Route 2.
The driver was identified as Elijah Stoudt.
While speaking with Stoudt, police say they detected several indicators of impairment.
After a roadside investigation, Stoudt was arrested for the suspicion of DUI and transported to the Williston State Police barracks for processing.
At the conclusion of processing, Stoudt was issued a citation to appear in court on May 20 to answer to the charge.
Troopers were assisted by Williston Police Department, Richmond Rescue, Bolton Fire Department, and E and S Transport.
