WILLISTON –– The Williston Police Department is actively investigating a disorderly conduct and unlawful mischief case that led to an evacuation at the Majestic 10 movie theater on May 17.
Police responded to the scene at approximately 6:18 p.m. after smoke devices were reportedly thrown into the theater’s lobby, causing panic and prompting the evacuation of not only the theater but also nearby businesses.
Surveillance footage from the area shows a white Honda Pilot with Vermont license plates fleeing the scene shortly after the incident.
Authorities believe the suspects involved in the incident were in this vehicle.
The Williston Police Department is seeking assistance from the public to identify the owner of the vehicle and its occupants.
