SALISBURY — Two 18-year-olds were involved in a head-on collision on Lake Dunmore Road in Salisbury on Wednesday evening.
The incident occurred at approximately 5:24 p.m.
According to the Vermont State Police, Jett Rheaume was driving east on Lake Dunmore Road when he crossed the centerline and collided with Ashauntia Couture’s car.
Rheaume was found to be travelling in excess of the speed limit and his vehicle was found to have several mechanical deficiencies.
Neither Rheaume nor Couture sustained injuries from the crash.
Couture’s vehicle was totaled as a result of the crash.
The incident is currently under review by the authorities.
