DOVER — A rollover crash involving a tractor-trailer took place in Dover yesterday.
The tractor-trailer was attempting to merge onto Knox Marsh Road heading west when the driver drove over the granite curbing, made an overcorrection, and overturned the fully loaded trailer on its side.
The driver was identified as Leandro Done Garcia, of Lynn, MA.
Garcia only reported minor injuries and was medically cleared on scene.
Due to the tractor-trailer being loaded with approximately 60,000 pounds of garbage, it took hours to offload the garbage into separate containers before the tractor-trailer could be lifted back onto its wheels.
The exit 8W off-ramp was closed and there were significant traffic backups on Knox Marsh Road, both eastbound and westbound.
Police are still investigating this crash.
