BROWNINGTON — The Old Stone House Museum & Historic Village is gearing up for its annual Opening Day celebration.
The event kicks off on Saturday, May 20 from 11: a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Visitors can expect free ice cream courtesy of H.P. Hood, as well as a free tour of the museum’s first floor.
The tour includes a walkthrough of a period kitchen, a classroom from days of old, and the newest exhibit, In a Different Hue: Race and Representation.
“We are excited to see you, share our great museum, and, of course, eat some ice cream.” the museum said in a statement.
The Old Stone House Museum & Historic Village is located in Brownington and is open from May through October.
