GEORGIA — An 18-year-old man was killed during a motorcycle crash in Georgia yesterday.
The crash took place on Georgia Middle Road at around 8:30 p.m.
According to the report, the motorcycle was traveling south at a very high rate of speed, lost control, left the traveled portion of the road, and crashed into a telephone pole.
The driver, identified as Jackson Pappas, of Georgia, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say speed is confirmed as a contributing factor in the fatal crash.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have information about the collision is being asked to contact the Vermont State Police.
