FAIRFAX — A 43-year-old woman from New York was arrested for DUI following a crash in Fairfax early this morning.
The single-vehicle crash into a parked boat took place on a private property on Swamp Road at around 2:20 a.m.
The driver was identified as Kristin Thompson, of Ticonderoga NY.
Police say Thompson displayed multiple indicators of alcohol impairment.
She was first evaluated by EMS on scene for minor injuries.
She was then screened and placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI.
She was released with a citation to appear in court for the offense.
