MENDON — A 33-year-old man from Rutland was arrested for DUI following a crash in Mendon early this morning.
The two-vehicle crash took place on Vermont Route 4, near the Killington Pico Motor Inn, at around 1:25 a.m.
According to the report, Joseph Siliski fell asleep and crossed the center line, hitting Thad Blaisdell, 52, of Barre.
During the investigation, police say they observed indicators of impairment and screened Siliski for driving under the influence.
Siliski was arrested for suspicion of DUI and processed at the Rutland Regional Medical Center.
He was cited to appear in court and issued several Vermont Civil Violation Complaints.
