BRISTOL — A 33-year-old man from Westmore was charged with DUI following a crash in Bristol today.
Authorities say they were notified of a vehicle driving erratically and further reports indicated that a vehicle had crashed on Vermont Route 116 south at around 11:00 a.m.
Upon arriving on the scene, police made contact with the driver who identified himself as Tyler Pion.
Pion was transported to Vergennes Police Department for processing.
He was processed for DUI-drugs and was cited to appear in court to answer to the charge.
Police say he was also charged with negligent operation, and violation of conditions of release.
The road was closed off for approximately one hour due to the crash.
