GROTON — Police are investigating a shooting incident that took place in Groton this morning.
Authorities say they were notified of gunshots in the area of the 1st Baptist Church at around 11:00 a.m.
Police say they located evidence of the building being struck by rounds.
No one was hurt, according to the vermont State Police.
Police say evidence located suggested someone may have been target shooting in the area.
State police are requesting any information regarding anyone that uses the stump dump for target practice.
