DORSET — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash in Dorset on Saturday.
The crash took place on Church Street at around 12:00 p.m.
According to the report, Maureen Wilt, 65, of Bennington, entered the back parking lot of the Dorset inn before reversing into Danielle Smith, 50, of Wells.
Smith’s vehicle was damaged during the crash.
Police say Wilt did not report the damage to the owner of Smith and did not exchange information, then proceeded to leave the area.
Troopers were able to locate Wilt and was issued a citation to appear in court on June 26 to answer for the charge of leaving the scene of an accident.
