RIPTON — A 49-year-old man from New Hampshire was involved in a single-vehicle crash in Ripton yesterday.
The crash took place on Vermont Route 125, near the intersection of Maiden Lane, at around 9:40 p.m.
According to the report, Willam J. Schaefer, of Hanover, New Hampshire, was traveling east on Vermont Route 125 when he collided with a snapped telephone pole that was located in the east lane of travel.
Vermont Route 125 was closed at Maiden Lane for approximately two and a half hours.
All parties were evaluated by EMS and did not sustain any injuries.
State Police were assisted by Ripton Fire and Rescue and Green Mountain Power.
