RUTLAND — A 33-year-old man was arrested following an incident in Rutland yesterday.
Police say they were notified of a residential burglary that occurred in the area of Ronaldo Court.
The complainant told police that someone had gone through their residence and stole items.
When Officer Parker arrived on the scene, she found that someone forced entry into the home and stole multiple items.
Police say prior to the report being made, Zachary LaPoint, of West Rutland, was found in possession of several items related to this burglary.
After the report was filed, LaPoint was located and arrested for burglary and possession of stolen property.
LaPoint was lodged at Marble Valley Regional Correctional Center on $1,000 bail.
